Replica Swords & Bladed Items — Over 18s Only

Under the Criminal Justice Act 1988 and the Offensive Weapons Act 2019, it is an offence in the United Kingdom to sell a bladed article to a person under the age of 18.

This applies to our replica swords and any other bladed item we stock, whether sharpened or not. The law covers the article itself, not its edge.

By placing an order for a bladed item you confirm that:

• You are aged 18 or over.
• The item is for your own lawful use, or a lawful gift.
• You will not supply it to anyone under 18.

Lightsabers

Our lightsabers are illuminated props with polycarbonate blades. They are not bladed articles and are not subject to the same statutory age restriction.

That said, they are heavy, they have moving parts, and duelling with them carries a genuine risk of injury. We ask that:

• Buyers under 16 order with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
• Duelling is supervised where children are involved.
• Eye protection is worn during any full-contact duelling, at any age.

Carrying Replicas in Public

It is an offence to carry a bladed or pointed article in a public place without lawful authority or reasonable excuse. Cosplay and travelling to a convention may constitute a reasonable excuse, but this is not guaranteed and is decided case by case.

• Transport replicas concealed, secured and unusable — in a case or bag, not in your hand.
• Take them out only at the venue.
• Never brandish a replica in public, and never take one to a school.

This applies to swords. Lightsabers, having no blade, are not caught by the same provisions — but common sense still applies. A police officer responding to a report does not necessarily know what you are carrying until they have stopped you.

Refusing an Order

We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order where we have reasonable grounds to believe:

• The buyer is under 18 and the item is age-restricted.
• The item is intended for an unlawful purpose.
• Age verification has failed at the point of delivery.

Where an order is refused on age grounds, you will receive a full refund. No production fee applies.

International Orders

Age and import restrictions vary by country, and some jurisdictions prohibit the import of replica bladed items entirely. It is your responsibility to check your local law before ordering. We cannot refund items seized by customs in territories where they are prohibited.
