RGB vs Xenopixel / Neopixel

RGB (baselit) sabers light the blade from a single LED in the hilt, offering a wide range of colours and solid effects at the best value, and the most impact-resistant build for duelling. Xenopixel and Neopixel sabers use a strip of individually-lit LEDs inside the blade for ultra-bright, uniform illumination and advanced effects. See our electronics guide and buyer’s guide.

The Story of the Anakin Skywalker Lightsaber – Graflex EP IV

‘Your father’s lightsaber.’ The saber Obi-Wan draws from the chest in Episode IV is the most important prop in the saga — Anakin’s blade, kept through nineteen years of exile, passed to a farm boy on Tatooine. This replica recreates that original Graflex configuration: the chromed body, the bunny-ear clamp, the red button. Machined and finished to the EP IV prop.

Famous Battles & Moments

The Handing Down

Ben Kenobi opens a chest in a desert hut and hands the galaxy’s future to Luke Skywalker. Every legacy in the saga flows from this one quiet scene — and this hilt.

The Graflex Itself

The original prop was a 1940s Graflex camera flash handle — the happiest accident in film history. This replica honours that heritage in every chromed detail.

The Longest Journey

From Anakin’s hand at Mustafar, to Obi-Wan’s chest, to Luke, to Bespin’s depths, to Maz’s castle, to Rey — no object in Star Wars travels further. This is where its screen life begins.

History of the Saber

The EP IV configuration is the legacy saber at its purest — before Bespin’s damage, before the sequel era’s wear. For prop collectors it is the reference version: the Graflex as the world first saw it in 1977.

Combat Style

In Luke’s untrained hands this saber begins as a relic; by the saga’s end its lineage defines three generations of Form V swordsmen. The Graflex’s slim chromed body balances light and fast — a fencer’s hilt.

Why Collectors Want It

This is the most collected hilt shape in the world — the EP IV Graflex, the saber that started everything. It anchors any legacy display beside the ROTJ and Rey sabers that follow it. Machined from 6063 aluminium, duel-ready out of the box.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Graflex?
The original 1977 prop was built from a Graflex camera flash handle — the chromed body, clamp and red button all come from it. This replica recreates that configuration.
Is this the same saber Rey carries?
In the story, yes — this is the legacy blade that passes from Anakin to Luke and eventually to Rey. This edition recreates it as first seen in Episode IV.
Can I change the blade colour?
It ships with a Jedi blue blade as standard, and most boards let you change colour on demand.
Is this good for dueling?
Yes. The hilt is machined from 6063 aluminium with a heavy-duty polycarbonate blade built for real contact. For heavy duelling, the RGB board is the most impact-resistant option.
Does it come ready to use?
Yes. Every saber ships fully assembled and tested, with blade, USB-C charger and tools included.

  3. MZ

It is an excellent lightsaber and very well crafted. Besides that, the delivery was faster than I expected.

  4. VB

Excellent. The sabre is of very good quality and easy to assemble. Top seller

  5. JR

Wow, amazing lightsaber replica from Star Wars episode 3. It is definitely worth getting the replica in SN Pixel or Proffie because it is the most movie-accurate. The hilt is very hefty and the weight feels very premium. If you are a Star Wars super fan do not hesitate to get the replica, this is better than any Disney or Hasbro lightsaber no questions asked. The customer service is great and the seller is also polite and attentive to questions or concerns.
