RGB vs Xenopixel / Neopixel
RGB (baselit) sabers light the blade from a single LED in the hilt, offering a wide range of colours and solid effects at the best value, and the most impact-resistant build for duelling. Xenopixel and Neopixel sabers use a strip of individually-lit LEDs inside the blade for ultra-bright, uniform illumination and advanced effects. See our electronics guide and buyer’s guide. A full side by side of every board we fit, so you can choose the right saber with confidence. Still unsure? Message the workshop, we'll help you pick.

The Story of the Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode III Lightsaber
By Revenge of the Sith, Obi-Wan Kenobi is the Order’s finest blade — and his third hilt shows it: chrome-finished, ribbed-gripped, the confident weapon of a High Council master at the height of the Clone Wars. This Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode III lightsaber recreates that design in machined 6063 aircraft-grade aluminium, and now offers an optional hand-applied weathered finish for the lived-in, screen-worn look.
Famous Battles & Moments
Utapau
‘Hello there.’ One Jedi, one blade, and General Grievous with four — the saga’s most beloved entrance ends with this saber against the Jedi hunter’s whole collection.
Mustafar
Brother against brother above the lava — the duel the entire prequel trilogy builds towards. This is the blade Obi-Wan carries to the high ground, and the hardest victory of his life.
Order 66
When the clones turn, Obi-Wan survives his own troops’ fire and fights his way back — this hilt in hand — to the Temple’s terrible truth and the mission that follows.
History of the Saber
Obi-Wan built this chrome hilt as a Jedi Knight after Naboo and carried it through the entire Clone Wars to its bitter end on Mustafar. It is the immediate ancestor of his final Episode IV design — the same lineage, one refinement earlier. Read more about the character in the official Star Wars Databank.
Combat Style
This is peak Soresu — the perfect defensive form that outlasted Grievous’s four blades and Anakin’s fury alike. Obi-Wan wins by exhausting storms, and this hilt’s balance rewards exactly that patient, precise style.
Why Collectors Want It
Mustafar is the prequels’ defining duel, and this is its winning blade — the chrome hilt at the centre of ‘you were my brother.’ Add the weathered finish for the screen-worn look or keep it clean, and pair it with an Anakin EP3 saber as the duel display. Machined from 6063 aluminium, duel-ready out of the box.
