Storing and Transporting a Saber
A lightsaber is a machined aluminium hilt with electronics inside it. Thrown in a bag, it will pick up dings, and the emitter is the first thing to go. A hard case is the difference between a saber that still looks new in five years and one that does not.
Why a hardened case
Our display case takes a full-length saber — hilt and blade — and holds it in place rather than letting it slide. The shell is rigid, so pressure from other luggage does not reach the saber.
Programmable locks
The case is fitted with numbered combination locks you set yourself. Useful at a convention, and useful at home if the saber needs to stay out of reach.
Case or stand?
They do different jobs. A stand is for a saber you want on show. A case is for one you need to move, or store safely. Most collectors end up with both.
