RGB vs Xenopixel / Neopixel
RGB (baselit) sabers light the blade from a single LED in the hilt, offering a wide range of colours and solid effects at the best value, and the most impact-resistant build for duelling. Xenopixel and Neopixel sabers use a strip of individually-lit LEDs inside the blade for ultra-bright, uniform illumination and advanced effects. See our electronics guide and buyer’s guide.

The Story of the Darth Vader Lightsaber EP6
Every Vader saber is a threat; the EP6 is also an ending. This is his Return of the Jedi configuration — the blade of the Endor landing platform, the last duel, and the choice that saves his son. The final chapter of the dark lord’s weapon, recreated in machined 6063 aircraft-grade aluminium.
Famous Battles & Moments
The Landing Platform
Luke surrenders on Endor and father and son speak alone at last. ‘It is too late for me, son’ — this hilt hangs at Vader’s side through the saga’s quietest, heaviest scene.
The Last Temptation
Goaded past endurance in the throne room, Luke batters Vader down — and severs the hand holding this saber. What Vader does next, without it, redeems everything.
The Pyre on Endor
Anakin Skywalker’s armour burns on a forest pyre. The EP6 hilt is the last saber Darth Vader ever carried — the endpoint of the saga’s greatest arc.
History of the Saber
Vader’s saber remained largely consistent from Mustafar to Endor; the EP6 configuration captures its final-film details. It is the counterpart bookend to our EP5 flagship — the same weapon at the end of its story. Read more about the character in the official Star Wars Databank.
Combat Style
ROTJ Vader fights with weary, immense power — Djem So stripped to pure inevitability, right up until the moment he stops fighting at all. The EP6’s substantial balance carries that same deliberate weight.
Why Collectors Want It
For collectors building the Vader lineage, the EP6 is the closing chapter — the redemption-era configuration beside the EP5’s Bespin menace. Machined from 6063 aluminium, duel-ready out of the box.
