About the Luke Skywalker Lightsaber

Luke Skywalker is the farm boy who became the last Jedi — and the one who won not by beating his father, but by refusing to. His story ends with a weapon thrown away, which is what makes it worth owning.

His signature weapon

Luke's saber is a green-bladed hilt he built himself, after his father's blue saber was lost on Bespin. It is a plainer, more industrial design than most Jedi weapons — the work of someone self-taught. Our range recreates it across three builds, machined from aircraft-grade aluminium and checked here before dispatch.

Blade and colour

His blade burns green, and every Luke saber we supply ships with a green blade as standard. Most boards also let you change colour on demand. Our saber wiki covers what each blade colour signifies, and the lightsaber entry has more on the weapon's history.

Why own a Luke saber

Alongside Vader's, this is the saber most collections are built around — the two halves of the same story. Whether you duel or display, it belongs in the case. Browse the range above, then check each product page for specifics.

Luke Skywalker Lightsaber FAQs

What colour is Luke Skywalker's lightsaber?
Luke's own saber has a green blade. He carried his father's blue saber first, but lost it on Bespin — the green one is the weapon he built himself. Our Luke sabers ship with a green blade as standard, and most boards let you change colour on demand.
Why did Luke build a new lightsaber?
He lost Anakin's blue saber on Bespin, along with his hand. The green hilt he builds afterwards is the first weapon that is genuinely his — made, not inherited — which is why it matters in the story.
Are your Luke sabers duel-ready?
Yes. Every Luke saber uses a thick-walled polycarbonate blade and a reinforced chassis, so it stands up to light and medium duelling. For heavy contact, an RGB board is the more impact-resistant choice — there are no electronics inside the blade to damage.
How much does a Luke saber cost?
Our Luke range starts from around £100 for an RGB build, rising through Xenopixel and Proffie boards for brighter blades, more sound fonts and advanced effects. Current prices are shown on each product above.
