Jedi lightsabers are most often blue or green. Blue marks a Guardian, who leads with the blade; green marks a Consular, who leads with the Force. Mace Windu's purple is the notable exception. We build seventeen Jedi sabers across nine characters, all duel-ready and assembled in the UK.

The Jedi Order

A Jedi's lightsaber is not a weapon of aggression. It is a tool of defence, built by the Jedi who carries it, and it is meant to be the last thing they reach for. That restraint is what separates the blade from the person holding it.

What makes a blade a Jedi blade

Colour, mostly. Blue for a Guardian, who leads with the saber. Green for a Consular, who leads with the Force. Purple sits between the two, which is rather the point of Mace Windu. Yellow marks a Temple Guard, and Ahsoka's white blades mark someone who left the Order entirely.

The hilts we build

Nine Jedi, seventeen sabers, from Yoda's shoto to Luke's Graflex. Every one is machined from aircraft-grade aluminium, hand-assembled in our Caistor workshop, and put through a 14-point check before it ships.

Which to choose

If you want the saber people recognise, Luke or Obi-Wan. If you want something less common, Qui-Gon or Cere Junda. Every hilt is duel-ready, and most are offered with both RGB and Neopixel boards.

Jedi Lightsaber FAQs

What colour are Jedi lightsabers?
Most commonly blue or green. Blue marks a Jedi Guardian, who leads with the blade; green marks a Consular, who leads with the Force. Mace Windu's purple is the famous exception, and Ahsoka Tano carries white after leaving the Order.
What is the difference between a blue and a green Jedi lightsaber?
In the lore, it reflects the Jedi's discipline rather than their rank — blue for a Guardian, green for a Consular. In practice, every saber we build lets you change blade colour from the hilt, so the choice is not permanent.
Which Jedi lightsaber should I buy first?
Luke Skywalker's or Obi-Wan Kenobi's. Both are the hilts people recognise instantly, both are offered with RGB and Neopixel boards, and both are duel-ready as standard. Our buyer's guide covers the decision properly.
Are Jedi lightsabers duel-ready?
Yes. Every saber uses a thick-walled polycarbonate blade and a reinforced chassis. For heavy contact, an RGB board is the more impact-resistant choice, as there are no electronics inside the blade to damage.
