The Return of the Jedi lightsaber carries more emotional weight than almost any other weapon in Star Wars. The ROTJ hilt is recognisably Vader's but close examination reveals differences from its predecessors. The grips, clamp details, and control box proportions were modified between productions, the result of different prop makers working across films and the natural evolution of a working prop over six years of production. Neopixel is the most advanced option, offering the most authentic on-screen look. All versions include motion sensors and multiple sound fonts.
